The new Research, Development and Innovation State aid framework (RDI framework) was adopted by the Commission on 22 November 2006 and entered into force on 1 January 2007. Together with the new State aid for Risk Capital guidelines, the RDI framework constitutes an important contribution of State aid to the Lisbon Strategy for growth and jobs. In fact, the new framework fulfils several of the announcements of the State Aid Action Plan (SAAP), which g
