This article deals with compensations granted by government and their relation to State aid law. It focuses on compensations that can be dealt with under Article 107(2)(b) and 107(3)(c) and which, as a rule, are granted after damage was caused by acts outside of government control, such as floods, earthquakes, and industrial accidents.
